GLASGOW got the derby bragging rights after beating Edinburgh 53-37 at the Peugeot Ashfield Stadium today.
No 1 Craig Cook bagged yet another 15-point maximum, while the all-action style of Rasmus Jensen won the fans over as he was named man of the match, winning three of his five races.
James Sarjeant was involved in the biggest talking point as he was thrown out of heat 10 for apparently breaking the rules when he left the track following a first-bend tumble, before the Tigers management challenged the referee and he overturned his decision.
It gives Glasgow six points from three Championship Shield meetings, and means they’re still in contention to make the semi-finals.
You can hear the reaction of Sarjeant in our latest video here.
