  • Without a doubt this was Tigers biggest signing over the winter as the World Cup rider decided to make the long journey north. It’s fair to say that 2015 didn’t go as planned, as his move to Berwick saw a fall in his average of around 2 points and his Bandits career came to a painful end after a dramatic crash at the British Final in June where he fractured 4 vertebrae. No one expected him to ride again in 2015 but he amazingly signed for Peterborough in August and led the Panthers to the play-off semi finals, with his form returning to that which made him one of the Premier League’s top riders. He first rode as far back as 2003 in the Conference league for Oxford and Trelawny and has ridden for a number of sides in both the PL and Elite League. He was a member of the Coventry side that won the title in 2010.

Ben left the club in June 2016 and subsequently joined Ipswich Witches for the rest of the season.
