  • The Tigers captain is back for his third successive season at Ashfield, hoping to lift more trophies in 2017 after the KOC win in 2016. Finished 2016 as Tigers no 1. Started his UK career in 2007, riding for both Buxton and Edinburgh, famously scoring his first ever maximum at Ashfield. He stayed with the Monarchs until 2010 when he joined Birmingham and also rode for Coventry in the Elite League. He then switched to Redcar for the 2011 season. He will be perhaps remembered for his crash with Richard Sweetman at Ashfield that season when the Glasgow man cleared the fence on the first bend. He doubled up for Coventry in 2012 and repeated the role in 2013 but was surprisingly left out of the Elite League in 2014. Turned out briefly for Swindon in the Elite League in 2015 but had a difficult time at Leicester in 2016.He has a good league winning pedigree being a league winner with Edinburgh and Coventry. He also was a member of Edinburgh’s play off winning sides of 2008 and 2009.
