Tigers’ owner Gerry Facenna has released the following statement:
“In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, and in-line with the announcement made by the First Minister today, we have made the decision alongside our parent company Allied Vehicles to close the Glasgow Tigers office until further notice.
The safety, health and wellbeing of our staff and their family is of vital importance to us.
In light of this, if you have any urgent enquiries, our phone lines will not be open and our online shop and ticketing will not be in operation. Instead, you can contact us via private message on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, or via email at email@example.com. We will try and respond to all enquiries as soon as possible.
We will await news from the governing body, the BSPA, in regards to fixtures in the future, but we would urge our fans and anyone reading this, to adhere to the governments guidelines and stay at home where-ever possible. It is vital that we look out for each other and we keep ourselves and everyone else safe and well during this challenging time.
Take care and we will see you all once this has passed.
