GLASGOW Tigers have roared into the quarter-finals of the KO Cup after overcoming Sheffield at Ashfield tonight.
Cami Brown’s men were 54-36 winners after managing to shake off their visitors following a close battle in the early stages.
With the sides drawing 45-all in the first leg, it meant Glasgow were comfortable 99-81 winners on aggregate and now face Redcar Bears in the next round.
Danny King became the first rider this season to beat the home team’s Craig Cook around his own track this season – but that was the only negative on a night when all the Tigers once again contributed important points to the tally.
Rasmus Jensen continued his superb form by racing to a 12-point maximum.
There’s reaction from Glasgow star Claus Vissing HERE.
